Weekend Breakfast Inspiration

Hello!
I hope you are all enjoying your Friday!
Aimee from the Antique Gardener gave me the eggs and citrus that you will see in this post...
Aimee's mom raises chickens and her in laws have a citrus grove....
I shot these images last winter.....
I just wanted to share some breakfast inspiration for the weekend....
My brother and his family will be here visiting for a few days so I am trying to come up with a few fun meals while they are here....

Cinnamon Rolls....

Eggs...
Scrambled with sausage, sour cream, and cheese....
My Aunt Mickey got me started making our scrambled eggs this way.....

fresh squeezed orange juice...

This is what my kids would love to have for breakfast everyday...
Reality is we eat a little too much cold and hot cereal for breakfast during the week....

What is your family's favorite breakfast menu?

**************************

On another note....
I had received some emails asking what the wall color is in our living room after posting about the antique french doors....

On a final note...
1st Prize ~A 300.00 gift card to my online shop....
2nd Prize~ One of our french linen market totes filled with a few of my favorite things...
3rd Prize~ a dozen lavender pillows...
Three winners will be drawn...
Thank you to everyone that has participated in the giveaway and thank you for all of your kind words!

Enjoy your weekend!
Take Care,
Maria

p.s. We are taking my brother and his family to San Francisco this week, would anyone have suggestions on places we should visit?
Thank you so much!

sigh. you make everything look dreamy, even a bowl of eggs! We are empty nesters so our breakfast consists of: hot cereal for hubs and I usually have coffee and some type of granola bar or cold cereal. Yeah, so these photos of yours look divine. Just sayin' :)
Have a WONDERFUL visit with your family. My sister in law and family are here from Portland and we are trying to figure stuff out to do here in the PNW also! ha!

have a lovely weekend.

Hi Maria,
We love pouched eggs on sourdough English muffins with fresh tomato and avocado slices for breakfast. Its become one of our favorites.
I love San Francisco. My favorite spots are the wharf, China town and Little Italy! We also love going over to Sasilito.
Hope you all have a great time.
Sincerely,
Melinda

If your going to San Francisco, try to visit Miette (bakery) they have a few locations in San Francisco and if you have the time, you may want to eat at His Lordship in Berkeley, the view of the ocean is amazing! Xo, Ashley

I'm big on fiber cereal but lately I have been loving plain yogurt with fresh blueberries, Weetabix cereal crumbled on it with honey - really delicious! The yogurt is a great substitute for milk! I should blog about it...have a great time in San Fran - I would recommend seeing the Golden Gate Bridge for sure and if you can, head up to wine country for a few hours of sightseeing and wine tasting!

Does everyone like to walk? (thinking of littles)... go to Land's End. park there and walk as far out as you'd like - gorgeous scenery (follows the Bay and at points has amazing view of the Bridge). The Marina area similar - lots of walking and on the water! Food, sights and walking at Ferry Plaza - great Farmers Mkt on wkend. Have a great time!

I would love to enter your giveaway - if not too late. My favorite breakfast??? The one you were just posting about -- the scrambled eggs, sausage and sour cream!! Never tried it but would sure like to!

I love the dreamy pictures you post here... There's something whimsical in everything you post!

And about breakfast: freshly squeezed orange juice would be delicious to have every day, but in reality I forget my breakfast most days. Not good huh? :-)

On weekends I try to eat some fruit (especially when it's so hot like the past few days here), juice and some bread.

When I'm working I sometimes eat a banana & soya yoghurt when I think of it. ;-)

PS: Can I say I'm totally in LOVE with your chairs in the last picture?? Where did you find them?

What a unexpected surprise to open my August Jeanne d'Arc and see your beautiful home! Loved seeing some rooms I haven't seen before. One of these days, maybe we will see all your rooms! I love to see what people do in their kitchens and bathrooms, especially since those are the hardest to work around. Thank you!

I would ride the cable cars, grab some sweets at Miette, and walk pier 39! If you get a chance drive over to Mill Valley, charming streets and great boutique shopping. Have a wonderful time, the weather should be beautiful! Laurie'

First of all...thanks for the awesome giveaway! I'd probably start with a few linen items for Christmas gifts and then work my way through your shop...I don't think I'd have any problem finding a few items!

I know everyone is suggesting the Wharf & Pier 39 but if you're pressed for time I would definitely skip them both (too touristy). Golden Gate Park & window shopping in Haight-Ashbury are my favourites. Try a different restaurant every night!

I know this is an odd request, but, what kind of espresso maker do you have? I am in the market for a new one and I am trying to narrow my search....do you like yours? Do you use it daily?

Thanks for any help you can give me, I know you have family and your time with them is important, so no worries if you can't get back to me on this......Have a great time in San Francisco!

nice and your dog Rocky is so sweet.
How glad you must be! I like every-
thing to win, you´ve made on your own (apron or so). So perhaps a little of you will come to my home in Germany. Best wishes!
